Funky Simplicity is a great ethical brand from the Netherlands, whose yoga clothing is produced small-scale, sustainably, ethically and with love in Bali. ❤ Funky Simplicity stands for quality of life, for knowing what you love and owning that. We believe that all human beings on this earth should have a good quality of life, a fair pay and good working conditions. Funky Simplicity is a fair-trade company with all production done in amazing Bali, Indonesia supporting the local community and working only with small family-based factories.
These creations are made with love and smiles all the way to your home. They choose only the best quality cotton elastane and get everything hand-printed, using silk screens, by Balinese printers.
The material is cut and sewed by one family-based garment factory, who cut and sew all our designs with great precision by highly skilled tailors. Funky Simplicity has built a beautiful house for them and attached a spacious workshop where they work very comfortably and free in their own timing. There is absolutely NO child labor involved or any kind of sweatshop conditions; something we are appalled at - and saddened by; the throwaway society of slave production. Clothes made with human suffering we do not want to wear or support.
Funky Simplicity loves working with the Hindu Balinese, even if they have more holy days in a year than anywhere else on the planet, it is what makes them so connected to the real things in life, which brings us back to quality of life.
Funky Simplicity is known for the soft and super comfortable and high quality materials like cotton elastane 100% cotton and modal. They don't use nylon or polyester.
