Om & Ah London makes inspiring luxury loungewear and is founded by Charlotte and Claire.
Om & Ah London works only with Ethically sourced Clothing. They decided from the outset that this is the only way they could work, the only way they want to work.
It is their objective to make sure that all of their suppliers and manufacturers offer exceptionally high standards of ethical and ecological production. Om & Ah is proud that the manufacturers that supply them have been independently certified.
All Om & Ah garments are currently printed in their specialist UK production facility and shipped around the globe.
All their products are WRAP certified in fact the highest wrap certification that can be awarded which they are delighted about! That means a no-sweat-shop, humane, sustainable way since day one. Their W.R.A.P. certification is just a small indication of how hard their manufacturer makes the sewing and cutting floors pleasant, productive, comfortable places to be.
The Om & Ah manufacturer's process: By using newer, more efficient dye machines, they use 7x less water than the average for clothing manufacturers, saving 24 million gallons a week. Any water they do use goes through a filtration system that allows it to be recycled.
Their manufacturer is a green company through and through - taking every opportunity to reduce co2 emissions. They use solar energy to power their sewing and cutting facilities, motion-sensor LED lighting and skylights throughout each building, and electric car charging stations to encourage employees to go green.
Their manufacturer's facilities and LA Headquarters produce almost no landfill because they recycle pretty much everything that can't be turned into a tee. They've optimized their cutting to reduce plastic use, and excess fabric is recycled into a number of things like baby bibs or stuffing for upholstery. Let nothing go to waste!
Some of their products do highlight if they are made from Eco fabric or 100% Organic Cotton and any of their garments made overseas are all FAIR TRADE, 100% sweatshop free and PLATINUM WRAP CERTIFIED.
